
This is an introductory experience to visit and gain an insight into life at Prickly Nut Wood. You will be met at the parking area at 10.10am on the day (full directions upon booking) and be accompanied to Prickly Nut Wood. Ben will meet you at the outdoor kitchen and there will be tea or coffee available. Ben will be with you the whole day and you will gain a history of the woodland, the management systems and products made. Ben will introduce you to Roundwood Timber Framing and this will culminate in visiting the famous ‘Woodland House’. The day will be relaxed and there will plenty of time for questions. You should leave inspired having had a fun and educational day.

Please bring sensible footwear and clothes for a visit to a working woodland. Please bring a packed lunch. Do bring cameras, photography is welcomed at Prickly Nut Wood.

This course is unsuitable for children under 12 years of age. No dogs are allowed on Prickly Nut Wood courses.
