This is a practical course held at Prickly Nut Wood with Ben Law. Prickly Nut Wood is a managed coppice woodland extending to nearly 100 acres. The course will cover short and long rotation coppice. Chestnut, hazel and mixed coppice. Pure coppice and coppice with standards. wildlife conservation and adding value through products and craft. You will be involved in coppicing with hand saws and billhooks.

What not to bring: This course is unsuitable for children. No dogs are allowed on Prickly Nut Wood courses.
